We got a triple room here, and it was really nice. the location is super convenient, right near the town center and next to Fallons restaurant 🍽. It's perfect for accessing everything in town easily.

The rooms were spotless, affable staff. It exceeded high expectations. Our hotel was in a great location next Fallons restaurant which has lovely food. And it was also so close to the centre, the pub next door and airport.

The charming guest house is just a short distance from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and Punchestown Racecourse, offering endless entertainment options. Plus, with Glendalough Monastery a scenic 38 km away, there's no shortage of picturesque sights to visit during your stay.

We had a fantastic trekking experience with our group of friends at this accommodation. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town, with easy access to shops, cafes, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern furnishings and a spacious bathroom. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We loved the cozy bar and the year-round Christmas tree added a charming touch. it was a great base for exploring the area.

The noise from other guests and the nearby pub was a bit disruptive at times.

I had a great stay at this lovely place. the owner was incredibly helpful and the room was new and beautifully decorated. the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the river and the town center. the room was clean and tidy, and I really appreciated the personal touch of the owner reaching out to me to apologize for the noise issue and see if there was anything he could do. It's clear that he cares about his guests and their experience. Cons: All was good 😊.

We had a wonderful stay at Rooms At Mcternans. Mary and Mick, the hosts, were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout our time there. They even went above and beyond by arranging a taxi for us to attend a nearby wedding. the room itself was beautiful, with a luxurious rainfall shower and high, quality toiletries. It was great value for money, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. the bar had a charming, old, school atmosphere, and there was even a year, round Christmas tree! one of the best places we have ever stayed. The free WiFi is a great addition, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The triple room is spacious, with air conditioning to beat the summer heat. There's even a wardrobe to keep my clothes organized. The bed linen and towels provided are clean and fresh.

Personally, I found the air conditioning in the triple room a bit too chilly at times. But hey, I know some people love it cold, so it might not be a con for everyone.
